
Ashley K. Warren
Ashley K. Warren began her artistic career as a ballerina and musician. She attended Concordia College on a music scholarship but graduated with an English degree, and went on to receive her MFA in creative writing from University of Southern Maine. Her fiction and poetry have appeared in Typehouse, The Examined Life, Easy Street, and in the anthology Poems Across the Big Sky II among other places (see publications). She has taught writing at Montana State University-Billings and Rocky Mountain College, and through the nonprofit organizations Arts Without Boundaries and Free Verse Writing Project. She is a member of the Big Sky Writing Workshops. In 2016, she co-founded Billings Area Literary Arts out of a desire to create more opportunities for writers in the community.
